• We don't store your formatted, validated, or converted output
• We don't use cookies for tracking
• We don't collect personal information
• We don't sell or share any data with third parties
• We don't use analytics that track individual users

2. How the Service Works

All JSON formatting, validation, minification, and conversion happens entirely in your web browser. Your data never leaves your device for these operations.

3. AI Fix Feature

The AI Fix feature is the only exception to client-side processing. When you use this feature:

• Your JSON is sent to our server, which forwards it to OpenAI's API
• We do not store or log the JSON you send
• OpenAI processes the data according to their privacy policy
• The fixed JSON is returned to you and then discarded
• We only store your IP address temporarily to enforce the 5-per-day limit (reset daily)

If you're working with sensitive data, we recommend not using the AI Fix feature.

4. Share via URL Feature

When you share JSON via URL:

• Your JSON is compressed and encoded directly in the URL
• We do not store the shared data on any server
• The data exists only in the URL you share
• Anyone with the URL can decode and view the JSON

Be careful when sharing URLs containing sensitive data, as anyone with the link can access it.

5. Local Storage

We use your browser's local storage to:

• Remember your last JSON input (for convenience)
• Store your preferences (like indent size)

This data stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can clear it anytime through your browser settings.

6. Third-Party Services

The only third-party service we use is:

• OpenAI API: Used exclusively for the AI Fix feature. Subject to OpenAI's Privacy Policy.

7. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
