1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using The Best JSON Formatter ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

The Best JSON Formatter provides free online tools for:

• JSON formatting and beautification
• JSON validation and error detection
• JSON minification and compression
• AI-powered JSON fixing (limited daily usage)
• JSON conversion to various formats (XML, YAML, CSV, TypeScript, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• JSON sharing via URL

3. Data Processing

We do not store, collect, or share your JSON data. All JSON processing happens in your browser. The only exceptions are:

• AI Fix Feature: When you use the AI Fix feature, your JSON is temporarily sent to OpenAI's API for processing. This data is not stored by us and is subject to OpenAI's privacy policy.
• Share Feature: When you share JSON via URL, the data is compressed and encoded in the URL itself. We do not store shared data on our servers.

4. Usage Limits

The AI Fix feature is limited to 5 uses per day per IP address. This limit resets daily. There are no limits on other features.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits through automated means
• Overload or disrupt the Service through excessive requests
• Use the Service to process malicious content

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• The AI Fix feature will successfully fix all JSON errors
• Converted output will be 100% accurate for all use cases

Always verify converted output before using in production systems.

7. Limitation of Liability

We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Service, including but not limited to data loss, system failures, or business interruption.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
